Markus Trautmann was born and raised in Germany, before immigrating to Louisiana in the 1980’s.

This curiosity sparked Markus' interest in engineering and paved the way for a bright future. Markus earned a Bachelor of Architecture and Construction Engineering from Hohere Technische Bundeslehranstalt Saalfelden, in Salzburg, Austria. His education was unique in that it required an internship to be performed on building sites during the summer months. These work experiences enabled students to see classroom theory applied in the field. Markus similarly had practical training in various disciplines of the construction industry, like carpentry, masonry work, surveying and laboratory testing. 

In the ensuing years…

Markus traveled to the United States where he met and married his former wife, Kelly. After years of residing in south Florida, the couple returned to her native home to start their family. In 1996, Markus opened his office specializing in residential design and construction supervision. As his business began to grow, so did his belief that he could better assist clients by being involved throughout the entire building process. Markus took the next logical step in his career and became a licensed residential and commercial contractor.
